NORD & La Salle Hotel School Partnership

Turning Exceptional Dining into Real Impact

We’re proud to partner with La Salle Hospitality Education Charity who are based in Croxteth, Liverpool. The partnership will not only raise much needed funds for the charity but La Salle will also be growing produce that will be used to help shape the seasonal menus at NORD.

To help us raise funds for this amazing charity we are asking guests to add £1 on, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to La Salle’s transformative work.

A pioneering initiative from La Salle Hospitality Education Charity (registered charity No. 1205274), the orgaisation is set to open a fully operational hotel and restaurant serving as both a community hub and a real-world training environment.

Located in Croxteth, Liverpool the school aims to break down barriers and unlock potential by providing hands-on training in catering, business management, customer service and horticulture. Students will gain practical experience while learning from seasoned professionals, equipping them with life-changing skills and pathways to rewarding careers in the global hospitality industry.

Since 2019, they’ve been repurposing a former Brothers’ House into a commercial training centre, complete with a professional kitchen and kitchen garden, teaching real-world skills in catering, service and horticulture. The upcoming hotel school will feature 11 bedrooms, a 40-cover restaurant, conferencing spaces and a kitchen garden, all designed to create a self-sustaining training environment with profits reinvested back into the charity.

By simply enjoying a meal at NORD, diners become champions of change. That extra £1 per bill helps provide vital training, mentorship and opportunities to young people who face barriers to success. It fuels the development of La Salle’s unique hotel–school model, an innovative blend of education and entrepreneurship, with all profits reinvested to sustain and grow their mission.

It also brings together dining excellence and social responsibility, connecting sophisticated cuisine with community impact.

At NORD we have always believed in the power of hospitality to change lives. Supporting La Salle Hotel School aligns perfectly with our values and vision, offering hospitality as a viable career. It’s inspiring to be part of a movement that opens doors for the next generation.

We are especially excited about being involved in the horticulture program at La Salle Hotel School. The Kitchen Garden and Plot-to-Plate initiative are not only brilliant for teaching sustainability and food provenance, but they’ll also play a big part in shaping the seasonal and locally inspired menus at NORD. Connecting young people with where food comes from, right down to the soil, and then seeing that produce influence our dishes is a powerful way to blend education with creativity. We are really inspired by this collaboration and believe it is a real step forward for the region’s food scene.

Take your taste buds on a journey and your heart into your community. Enjoy an outstanding dining experience at NORD and know that your meal is contributing to educational opportunity, skill-building and brighter futures at La Salle Hotel School.

Together, we’re serving up great food with even greater purpose.
